Dogcations -- Pet Sitting at Our Home
Pamper your pooch with comfortable accommodations for those times when you are away. Our full-time care will ensure your dog's stay is enjoyable and safe.
At this time we take in no more than a few dogs at a time. We have three happy dogs ourselves, two dachshunds and one schnauzer. So, your dog will never be short of play time.
We have an air-conditioned home and fenced yard in German Village. Your dog must be friendly as we want everyone to have a good time during the dogcation. If your dog is used to being on his or her own, we do have additional accommodation we can provide with one of our fellow caregivers.
Fresh food, water and linens will be provided daily. We suggest bringing their normal food to avoid unwanted tummy upsets. Feel free to bring any washable bedding material from home that may provide a familiar scent and make their stay more comfortable. You are welcome to provide blankets, treats and toys. Its our preference to walk the dogs at least once a day. So, please ensure that your dog has a collar with contact information, body harness and a leash. If your dog isnt a walker, just let us know and we will ensure they will receive secure, and monitored quiet time.

First step is to call us at the shop (614 444 9274). Second step is to set up a "meet and greet" at our home. Third step is agreement by all including the pooches and final step is booking the reservation and scheduling a drop off time. If you are a repeat,customer, just call us to make the reservation.
Every pet must be healthy and free of any contagious illnesses. Each guest must be spayed or neutered past the age of 6 months and provide proof of current vaccinations prior to boarding. We require Rabies, DHPP, and Bordatella.
Stay At Our Home Rates
Price for care in our home is $25 for the first dog, $15 for the second dog in the same family. There are no minimum days for boarding or pricing difference for weekends. Partial days will be charged a rate of $2 per hour, $1 for each additional pet, up to 8 hours; anything beyond 8 hours will be considered an additional day.
Dogcations -- A Staycation for the Pampered Pet
Are you traveling but have to leave your pet at home? House Sitting is for the client that prefers someone to sleep over at their home. We spend 10 hours in your home each night and leave the home for no more than 6 hours at a time.
There are many perks included with your pet sitting service. During visits or overnight stays your pet caregiver can:
- replenish your pet's chosen type of food and supply fresh water.
- walk, exercise and play with your pet.
- provide litter box, cage, and accident clean-up.
- collect and/or forward your mail.
- pick up your newspapers.
- water your plants.
- bring in and take out trash.
- alter your lights and windows.
In-home pet care is at our discretion.
Stay at Your Home Rates
Prices for this service start at $15 per visit (within 5 miles of our shop at 207 Thurman Avenue and $.50 a mile per round-trip visit beyond this distance) or $50 per day for overnight care. Partial days will be charged a rate of $3 per hour, up to 8 hours; anything beyond 8 hours will be considered an additional day. We will also care for cats in the owners' home. Cost is $15 per day and $2 for each additional cat (one visit per day).
PLEASE NOTE: All fees are due and payable in advance of service. Payment by check is preferred. Additional charges incurred may be billed and are due immediately upon receipt of invoice. Checks returned by the bank for any reason are subject to a $25 fee.
